Habitat

Habitat is a commission commemorating a wonderful building project that didn’t come to fruition, but built a wonderful community just the same. All the objects in this painting hold special meaning to members of the collective, and tell a story of their generosity, pragmatism, resilience and creativity.

This piece is painted in oils, which I use exclusively for their smoothness, flexibility and wonderful blending ability.
