Sigil
It is a human trait to to make meaning out of the meaningless, and the arrangements in all my still life paintings are laden with meaning both real and imagined. They capture moments of quiet beauty, weaving together memories, objects, stories and myths – exploring what it is to be a human, a family member, and an observer of the world.
This piece is painted in oils, which I use exclusively for their smoothness, flexibility and wonderful blending ability.
